Fields of study

Lipscomb University is a private coeducational institution whose principal focus is education in the liberal arts and sciences. Our primary mission is to integrate Christian faith and practice with academic excellence.

Students at Lipscomb University may earn a bachelor’s degree in 175 fields of undergraduate study, several pre-professional programs, an accelerated adult degree program and a competency-based program. Lipscomb also offers 24 master's degrees, eight Ed.S. degrees, 20 graduate certificate programs and four dual degrees. Lipscomb's academic programs include doctoral degrees in pharmacy, education and ministry. We also offer residents of the Tennessee Prison for Women the opportunity to earn associate and bachelor’s degrees through our LIFE program.

Our residential campus is located in the Green Hills area of Nashville, Tenn. There are four off-campus program opportunities (Downtown Nashville, Cool Springs, Murfreesboro and Sumner County).
