America’s English Language School has been teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) since its inception in 1997 (the first two years under a different name, ownership and management.) It began as a school dedicated to helping international students (mostly on student F-1 VISAs) pass the TOEFL exam. The TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) exam is the entrance exam required of international students to obtain admission to a majority of American Universities. Thousands of students have attended America’s EnglishLanguage School since 1997 and the passing rate of students taking the TOEFL exam has always been quite high. International students attending America’s English Language School on F-1 Student Visas are in the Gateway Program.
