Your healthcare needs - and the healthcare needs of your family, neighbors and colleagues - help to determine the services we provide today. Generations before you inspired us to grow from a small local hospital to a health system. Our future plans are based on your changing health care needs, as well as those of your children and their children.

For over 90 years, Torrance Memorial's leadership, volunteers, and staff have come from the local South Bay, Peninsula and Harbor communities. These men and women act in the best interests of our communities - in your best interest. In emergencies - including heart attack or stroke - you can be sure that Torrance Memorial has the expertise and technology to provide the best possible care. You can turn to Torrance Memorial for treatment of injuries or illnesses; for information about disease prevention, risk factors or symptoms; and for health-education classes, support groups, or nutritional counseling.

Torrance Memorial Medical Center is a locally governed, 446-bed, non-profit medical center, the purpose of which is to provide quality healthcare services, predominantly to the residents of the South Bay, Peninsula and Harbor communities of Los Angeles County.
